Maeve is a sophomore at Truckee High School. It is her first year being involved in journalism. She likes to write about environmental issues and conservation. She also likes to create profile pieces to showcase interesting things about individuals. Maeve’s goals for journalism this year are to learn more about journalistic writing and to inform her school about important issues. In her free time, Maeve enjoys swimming in lakes, exploring outside, reading, and spending time with friends.
