Kayla is a determined sophomore at Truckee High School working hard to achieve her dreams. This is her first year working in journalism. She enjoys writing art and opinion pieces to have a way to share her point of view with the world. Her goals for journalism this year include improving her interviewing skills and leadership skills. Academics and volleyball take up most of her time, but she loves spending time with friends and designing mobile apps with her dad. During her little free time, she is an avid artist, reader, and writer.
