Charlie Derrick is a freshman at Truckee High School. This is her first year being involved in journalism. Her favorite things to write about are student life and pop culture. Her goals for journalism this year are to become more comfortable interviewing her peers. Charlie is also a member of the volleyball team. She enjoys art, baking, and listening to music when she is outside of school.
