See Ya Glenshire! Hello ACMS!
I have had three years in Glenshire elementary but I’ve had a lot of experiences.
I transferred schools in 2020 from Jericho, Vermont. I was a little nervous going into Glenshire but soon made some friends and had a lot of fun playing at recess.
I hated reading going into third grade but my teacher, Mrs. Mckechnie, really helped me with reading.
Along with the ups there were some downs like that one time that I overflowed the toilets in the bathroom. #funnynotfunny.
It was also so difficult because COVID was happening and we had to go to school in cohorts. Then it opened up toward the end of the school year.
Moving into fourth grade I had Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Ludwig. I liked fourth grade because there were some really fun field trips and activities. I also had some great teachers including Mrs. Rose, Mr. V, ect.
We also had the end of summer break reading challenge and got popsicles and a book. #somuchfun. We also got to go to where gold was discovered and we got to spend the whole day there.
Then I went to fifth grade and we had a really fun overnight at the zoo. We got to go see the California Assembly in session, then we took a good walk to the railroad museum and we got to explore and tour the trains. A little after that we ate dinner at a pizza place and got unlimited refills. Lastly we got to go to the zoo and tour, sleep and eat there.
This was probably one of the funnest things that has ever happened at school.
If I had to give anybody some advice going into glenshire elementary I would say make sure that you have integrity and that it is a blast.
I can carry these experiences into the next phase of my life by learning from my mistakes and improving from them. I am excited for being able to have more time in the afternoon and in sixth grade I’ll be able to. I am also excited for some more fun on overnights.
Also my “favorite” thing to do in my free time is Lexia.
I really enjoyed my years at glenshire elementary. But I can’t wait to be a middle schooler.
See ya glenshire, hello ACMS. Thank you for reading this goodbye and thanks again.

It’s so great to read your account of the time you have spent at Glenshire. I know middle school is going to be even better! Enjoy it all.
